What this is
Canly is a read-only personal-finance coach. Decide tonight, then hold yourself to it. Insights, Ask, and the morning brief are informational. We do not provide investment, tax, or legal advice. You stay in control of every purchase and every merchant cancellation.
Bank connection
Using Canly requires an account and a connected bank. Plaid grants Canly read-only Transactions access (recent transactions only). That is all we pull. We never see your bank username or password. Those stay inside Plaid. We do not keep bank login credentials. We never move money, never make charges, never initiate a transfer, and never cancel a merchant. You may disconnect anytime.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the numbers you type (take-home, caps) and for decisions you log (skip, stretch, already ordered). Insights come from your connected bank, not sample data.
Availability
The service may be unavailable, keys may be missing (Plaid, Anthropic, Stripe, Resend, Twilio, Postgres), and coach answers may fail rather than invent copy. We are not liable for decisions you make from insights or from a missing brief. Opt-in SMS is a reminder only. Twilio trial accounts can only text verified recipients until the account is paid and 10DLC is registered.
